Happy National Gratitude Month! With gratitude being one of the pillars that Day Designer was built around, we love knowing that there is now an entire month designated to help spread the word about gratitude’s amazing powers!
To kick off the month of November here within the Day Designer community, we shared The Benefits of Gratitude: How to Boost Your Health and Happiness. In the comments of that blog post, we loved hearing from many of you about how important this practice is in your lives!
We believe that gratitude should be cultivated every day – so much so that we include a prompt for your Daily Gratitude on our signature daily planning page within our Flagship Daily Planners.
When it comes to feeling grateful for what we have, some of us have been honing our practice for many years, aiming to fill in the gratitude box of our Day Designer every single day or keeping a gratitude journal – while others are just getting started.
According to international speaker Cory Muscara on the topics of mindfulness and positive psychology, “Keeping a gratitude journal is one of the best researched positive interventions in the science of happiness and well-being. It’s been shown to increase positive emotion, your sense of connection with other people, and it actually increases your motivation to pursue your goals.”

What gift am I most grateful for?
The ability to be alive today to me is the most gracious blessing I am truly grateful for. I have many physical obstacles I face daily but God never gives you more than able to handle without resources available for you to succeed. This resource is LOVE
I would have nearly impossible days of survival without my support team who assists me through prayer, encouragement and sacrifices.
I apologize part of my impairments is memory due to brain trauma along with 2 strokes within the past 5 years. Just to make life interesting First took place 3 or 4 years after I became a traumatic brain injury survivor mentor 11 years after the MVA.
Life continues to be a blessing everyday! I don’t recall the exact wording of the question however without a doubt LOVE received from a wide range of selfless people who have helped me be alive today.
Example DayDesigner I discovered many years ago but it was too early in my journey in my recovery. Yet they continually kept in contact even when I was unable to read.
Now they are here to be my resource for my memory.
Thank you Day Designer I am so proud of all of you for continuing to grow and expand in so many positive ways you are a valuable blessing of a treasure of resources who are capable of assisting with heading me into a solid direction for building a resource for my memory to aid in ability to remain me as long as God wills
Beautiful Blessed Healthy Happy Future Be Each and Everyone of You!
Yes! The ability to be alive. Well stated! Thank you for sharing your story with us and our community! And thank you for your kind words! We wish you a very healthy future as well.
These are truly such beautiful questions! Thank you for gathering them into one inspiring blog post.
The gifts (I can’t decide between these two!) I am most grateful for are my Ted Baker necklace and my new Day Designer Flagship Daily Planner in Coming Up Roses for 2020. As yesterday was Christmas, I decided to take stock of the wonderful gifts I received as well as in years past. My Ted Baker necklace truly is a part of me (I know it’s rather materialistic, but I just love it so much and it truly represents me!) and I wear it every day. It gives me courage and reminds me to be the best and kindest person I can be. I have been getting more compliments on it lately which I find funny because it’s two years old, but I love it more every day. My new Day Designer planner was my favorite gift I received this year because it is absolutely beautiful! Even though I already have a Day Designer for 2019, I almost cried when I opened Coming Up Roses because it was so so beautiful! The planner is absolutely stunning, and pictures do not do it justice.
I am so grateful for the wonderful Christmas I had surrounded by family and loved ones, and I am so excited about what 2020 has to bring. I hope to have as magical of a year as I did in 2019, for although it was an odd year, there were so many absolutely magical things that happened that I can not imagine myself living without. Thank you, Day Designer, for creating absolutely beautiful and inspirational products. I love you all very much and I hope you have a wonderful and magical holiday season and a successful and happy 2020. ♡♡♡♡
