I’m completely in love with The Day Designer. I was glad to see there is a mid-year addition available…however, the online version begins in June. The Day Designer at Target (as well as most other mid-year planners) start with July. Any hopes of seeing this changed in future years/versions? Thanks for everything you do!
Hi Vanessa! As of right now, we don’t have plans to offer a Flagship Midyear Edition through DayDesigner.com that starts later in the year, but we’re always evaluating and growing, so thank you for the great feedback!
Is there a picture of the mini next to the flagship?
Hi Barb! Great idea! I just added a photo of the two sizes. Please check out the updated post. Thank you so much for reaching out about this, and best of luck deciding!
Hello! Will there be a mid-year Blue Sky collaboration edition? I absolutely LOVE my 16-17 planner I picked up at Target last year.
Hi Nicole! Yes, definitely! Blue Sky will have the most current information on that collection’s styles and availability. Please feel free to email their team at custserv@bluesky.com!
Good Morning!
My question is with regard to the paper weight and the difference in weights between the Flagship line and the BlyeSky line. The Flagship line costs more, but I did not want to assume they used a higher quality of paper. I do use color and markers in my planner, so I do worry about bleed through.
Looking forward to your response.
Kimberly
Hi Kimberly! That’s a great question. The Blue Sky planners are lighter and leaner, mostly because they are weekly/monthly formats (all have plastic/cardboard covers) and offer a paper weight of 80 gsm. You might still be able to find these on the shelf at Target if you’d like to touch and feel one of the items from that collection. Our Flagship Collection is produced in smaller quantities and offers a higher paper quality (90 gsm!) with a hard cover and sophisticated binding. In essence, our Flagship line is higher end and more exclusive with a focus on quality and innovation. Two years ago, we upgraded the paper quality within our Flagship Edition planners to be sure that we continue to offer the highest quality products for our customers! Hope this helps!
